Well, had been to our new flat... We are going to start repair jobs there. Because of talking about all the preparations and design schemes is too boring, I'll better talk about funny part)) You know, whole building was released just with naked concrete walls inside. Even toilet should be installed too. But anyway, you should see those walls! They were all drown over with magnificent "paintings", I call them "rock carvings". Just watch it! (I had already posted some of them on my LJ-blog).  But this one is is new and my favorite.

Just think about it! It was written by builders, who probably came from Western Ukraine or more likely Moldova, have no education, no place for living (usually they stay at empty wagon's that are brought for them to the construction place). And they fuck up with each other, whose English is better! Well, in Ukrainian is almost the same shit, or should I say "shirt" ))))))
Well another thing is, that house, were our flat is, is one of the highest buildings in the city...

So today I used the situation and made some more photos of my neighborhood.
It is called Позняки (Poznyaky).

Basically it's typical Ukrainiang bedroom community: just miles of same econom-class multistory buildings. Most of such communities in Kyiv a almost like ghettos. But not Poznyaky. It was build in post-soviet era, people living here got their homes for their own money, not like low-class proletarians in other communities, who got their 33m2 by social insurance. That's why it's much safer and calmer here. I don't feel urban depressing atmosphere here, I really like that district.
And now I'm going to have my usual weekly movie-time with pop-corn)
